North Area Pond - Several different viewing areas give an excellent opportunity to observe the wildlife that lives in and visits this habitat area. Located at 202 Lindo Place in Davis.
West Area Pond - This large habitat area has been recently renovated to improve its habitat value. A bike path runs along the eastern edge of the pond, offering many excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
Quail Ridge Wilderness Conservancy - Offering hikes and workshops that help people understand California's natural history and ecological challenges. Come see a variety of species. Check website for tours and events. By appointment only. Located by Lake Berryessa just past Winters. (530) 758-1387
Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve - A University of California nature reserve just six miles west of Winters. The reserve is open year round for hiking, bird watching, and plain old fun in Mother Nature. Cache Creek Canyon Regional Park - A 700 acre park that offers opportunities for nature study, fishing, trails, and more. Open daily. Located on Highway 16 in Rumsey. (530) 666-8115
UC Davis Arboretum - This living outdoor museum has over 22,000 types of trees, plants, and shrubs. Open daily, 24 hours a day and free of charge. Located on the UC Davis campus in Davis. (530) 752-4880.
Cache Creek Conservancy - This is a 130 acre property on lower Cache Creek offering hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and bird watching. Open Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM & every third Saturday 9AM-2PM. Located at 34199 County Road 20 in Woodland. (530) 661-1070.

Native American Contemplative Garden - This serene and peaceful garden is located on the UC Davis campus and pays tribute to the Patwin people who lived on the land and were removed to missions between 1817 and 1836.
